The Mendham Magic Track and Field Club and Mendham Township Recreation Commission sponsor a Track and Field Program for Mendham township and borough children currently in kindergarten through 8th grade. The children will be grouped into age groups and will participate in events based on their age as of December 31, 2008.

The team will compete in the Lakeland Junior Track and Field League, which is comprised of 15 other area teams. The team travels to other local towns for track meets and hosts home meets at West Morris Mendham High School.

Track meets are held on Sunday afternoons for all age groups from 9-10 year olds to 13-15 year olds. The 6-8 year olds have track meets on Friday evenings. Track meets begin in April and end at the beginning of June.
