Former Mendham Magic star Sarah Gillespie was named MVP in Girls track this year. Sarah set records in the 100 @ 12.71, 200 @ 25.71 & 400 @ 57.68. Sarah and former Magic standout Ellie Meyers were on the record setting 4x400m relay with a time of 4:01.45!

Two Mendham high school sophomores received MVP awards from their coaches this season. Brian Ricciardi for sprinters/jumpers and Gerald Gorman for distance. Gerald also set a Mendham HS record (1:56.42) in the 800m dating back to 1981!

It was a perfect day for our final meet of the season at Central Park - there were 71 Mendham Magic runners, with 33 receiving medals for being in the top 15. 29 runners received their personal bests! Congratulations to all who competed on Sunday!

We will begin holding practice at Brundage Park in Randolph from 5:30 to 6:30 starting August 21st on Tuesday and Thursday - the official start will be September 4th at 5:00 - practice will be followed with a parents meeting. First meet is September 9th.

Coach Mary ran the NY Marathon on Sunday, Nov 5th in a very quick 7:47 pace (45 seconds ahead of her planned pace) with a finish time of 3:24.15. Great Job, we are proud of her!
